The four pillars of the Morning Star Leadership Foundation:

  1. Preserve, strengthen and renew CULTURAL CONCEPTS and spiritual practices, beliefs and values for urban tribal youth. These cultural concepts integrate into education, social and historical issues and influences in learning.
  2. Develop and enhance effective YOUTH DEVELOPMENT LEADERSHIP by increasing civic leadership, strengthening cultural identity, and engaging in community diversity opportunities that create stronger tribal allies.
  3. ENGAGE YOUTH AND ELDERS in activities that demonstrate methods for documenting traditional knowledge, practices, and/or beliefs, while using appropriate technologies (traditional and/or modern).
  4. Develop MENTORING for youth through leadership development programs and integrated educational programs.
